The Physicians’ Center for Sleep Disorders, owned and operated by Graves-Gilbert Clinic, is a specialty service connecting to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. Our staff physicians and chief technicians have worked in the field of sleep medicine for more than 15 years and have experience in the entire spectrum of sleep disorders.
A sleep Study, or polysomnogram, is a recording that uses a variety of measurements to identify sleep stages and classify various sleep problems. It is a painless procedure and all devices used are designed to be as comfortable as possible. The center adheres to the polysomnographic guidelines of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
A physician who specializes in Sleep Disorders will carefully follow your case. Your sleep study will be monitored and analyzed by a team of trained technologists. To be seen and tested at the Sleep Center requires a referral from your physician.
One of our staff physicians who specialize in sleep disorders and their treatment will see you at the Sleep Center and interpret your study after it has been analyzed. They will also consult with you and your referring physician regarding appropriate treatment and follow-up.
