  • Registered Medical Assistant –Munfordville

    Department: Internal Medicine--Munfordville

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; daytime hours

    Job Duties:
    Triage and obtaining patient vitals/histories
    Assisting physician with routine patient care visits in very busy and fast-paced setting
    Injections
    Stocking, cleaning, and monitoring patient exam rooms
    Charting in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
    All medical assisting duties within scope of Internal Medicine practice
    Other duties as necessary/assigned

    Requirements:
    Must be Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
    Licensed Practical Nurse in state of Kentucky will also be considered
    Previous medical office experience preferred
    Must be proficient with EMR with outstanding computer skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care and ability to multi-task in busy work environment

  • Nurse Practitioners–various locations

    Department: Family Medicine--Franklin, Munfordville, Smiths Grove, & Morgantown locations

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Weekdays 40 hours per week; some Saturday hours as necessary

    Job Duties:
    Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.

    The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the medical, nursing and support services to provide patient and family focused care.
    Perform history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Providers.
    Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs pts and Providers of findings and required follow up. Patient education and support --
    Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
    Pediatrics.
    Other duties as necessary under direction of Providers and Administration.

    Requirements:
    Previous medical office/ hospital experience highly preferred.
    Current Kentucky licensure as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
    Professional certification as a nurse practitioner.
    CPR certification and ACLS/BLS required.
    Must be comfortable working with Pediatric patients.
    Dermatologic procedure skills highly preferred (experience with incision and drainage of abscess; skin biopsies (ie: excision/punch biopsy); ingrown toenail removals.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care in teamwork-oriented environment.

  • Registered Medical Assistant–Pediatrics

    Department: Pediatrics

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; daytime hours (between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm); Monday-Friday; morning hours on Saturdays / rotation basis

    Job Duties:
    Rooming patients
    Obtaining vitals and patient histories
    Documentation in Electronic Medical Record
    Stocking / cleaning exam rooms and patient waiting areas
    Clerical duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
    Assisting physician and other staff with daily patient care responsibilities
    Other duties as necessary and/or assigned

    Requirements:
    CMA or RMA required (certified or registered)
    Exceptional customer service skills with a heart for children and families
    Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high focus on quality patient care
    Must have proficient computer skills / Electronic Medical Record
    Experience in Pediatric office setting highly preferred

  • Licensed Practical Nurse–various departments including Pediatrics

    Department: Nursing

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with half-days on Saturdays; approximately 40 hours per week

    Job Duties:
    Providing direct patient care working collaboratively with other members of the department including physicians; preceptor to other assistive personnel within the department;
    Providing I.V. care for patients according to clinic standards and certification;
    Participating in nursing research, quality improvement and department development;
    Contributing to patient assessments and needs, plan of care and documents;
    Providing medical treatment to include injections, immunizations;
    Administering prescribed oral medication under directive of physician;
    Obtaining and charting vitals, patient histories;
    Preparation of equipment for assisting physician with medical treatments, exams, and in-office surgical procedures if needed;
    Other duties as assigned/necessary.

    Requirements:
    Graduate of accredited school of Nursing;
    Valid Kentucky LPN license;
    Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS);
    One year experience in medical office preferred.

  • Medical Receptionist (Registered or Certified Medical Assistant)–Urology

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 or 5pm

    Job Duties:
    This position will involve primarily front office receptionist and clerical duties including telephones, scheduling appointments, pre-certifications/pre-authorizations, check-in tasks.
    Interaction with ancillary services and outside facilities.

    May also include the following duties ON RARE OCCASION ONLY:
    Delivery of quality patient care--rooming patients
    Obtaining vitals and patient histories
    Assisting physician and providers with procedures and exams
    Floating within the department
    Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms Ordering supplies
    Electronic charting
    Other duties as assigned/needed

    Requirements:
    Must be Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (or have ABR-OE) for the purpose of order entries
    Excellent skill in telephone and personal communications
    Previous medical office experience highly desirable, preferably within the specialty of Urology
    Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
    Multi-tasking skills within fast-paced environment
    Teamwork approach
    Patient Registration experience very helpful
