    Job Duties:
    Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.

    The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the medical, nursing and support services to provide patient and family focused care.
    Perform history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Providers.
    Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs pts and Providers of findings and required follow up. Patient education and support --
    Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
    Other duties as necessary under direction of Providers and Administration.

    Previous medical office/ hospital experience highly preferred.
    Current Kentucky licensure as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
    Professional certification as a nurse practitioner.
    CPR certification and ACLS/BLS required.
    Must be comfortable working with Pediatric patients if indicated.
    Dermatologic procedure skills highly preferred (experience with incision and drainage of abscess; skin biopsies (ie: excision/punch biopsy); ingrown toenail removals.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care in teamwork-oriented environment.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse OR Registered / Certified Medical Assistant –Dermatology

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm

    Job Duties:
    All aspects of Assistant duties such as rooming patients, obtaining patient histories and vitals; accurate documentation into EMR; assisting physician with exams and procedures;
    Preparing appropriate instrumentation, equipment, and supplies for procedures;
    Demonstrating competence with proper understanding of sterile technique; performing sponge, needle, and instrument counts in an accurate manner;
    Assuming responsibility for upholding the policies and procedures of the clinic, including compliance with HIPAA; Performance of all responsibilities in a manner which contribute to positive clinical outcomes and service excellence for patients and physicians;
    Scheduling appointments and clerical tasks; telephone interaction with patients and ancillaries;
    Other duties as necessary and/or assigned.

    Licensed Practical Nurse OR Registered Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant required OR Surgical Technician may be considered if certified through an accredited Surgical Technologist program; Surgical Technician Certification would be necessary;
    Previous dermatology experience preferred;
    Proficient oral, electronic, telephone, and written communication skills;
    Familiar with Electronic Medical Record; current CPR certification;
    Excellent interpersonal abilities with high focus on quality patient care and customer service.

  • Registered Medical Assistant — Pulmonology

    Job Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30am-4:30; approximately 40 hours per week

    Job Duties:
    Rooming patients;
    Obtaining vitals and patient histories;
    Assisting physicians and providers with exams/ procedures;
    Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms;
    Electronic Medical Record documentation; front office clerical duties including phones, scheduling, pre-certifications/pre-authorizations;

    RMA or CMA required;

  • PART TIME Radiographer (ARRT and KY licensed) & Laboratory Assistant

    Department: Radiography / Laboratory -- Occupational Health

    Job Type: Part Time

    Job Hours: 24-28 hours per week; daytime hours

    Job Duties:
    Performing XRay exams/studies in very busy fast-paced environment.
    Requires a dual role between Radiography and Laboratory duties.
    Phlebotomy, kit testing, and other laboratory duties (training for Lab/Phlebotomy skills is available on site).
    Rooming patients and obtaining/monitoring/documenting patient vitals when indicated.
    Clerical functions.
    Other duties as necessary/assigned.

    Must have current KY Radiography License and Registration with ARRT
    1-2 years work experience preferred.
    Proficient with EMR/computer skills.
    Previous phlebotomy and medical assisting experience very helpful but full on-the-job training for Laboratory duties will be provided.
    Excellent patient care skills with ability to multi-task while maintaining high focus on quality patient care.

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Daytime hours between 7:45am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

    Job Duties:
    Clinical duties include:
    Preparing patients for exams.
    Obtaining vitals and patient histories.
    Assisting physician/and-or extender with procedures.
    Setting up exam rooms for patient procedures/biopsies.
    Monitoring, cleaning, stocking exam rooms.
    Documentation into electronic medical record.
    Other duties as necessary/assigned.

    Clerical duties may include:
    Scheduling patients for appointments and ancillaries, phones, pre-certifications.
    Assisting with Supply orders.
    Other duties as assigned/necessary.

    RMA/CMA required or other qualifying certification.
    Must have previous experience in medical office setting, preferably the specialty of ENT (Otolaryngology).
    Must be familiar with electronic medical records.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality patient care.
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.
    Ability to assist with minor in-office procedures if necessary.
