    Job Hours: 40 hours per week

    Job Duties:
    Patient Registration.
    Scheduling.
    Clerical Functions within a busy medical office setting.
    May involve telephone interactions.
    Providing Registration coverage in various satellite locations.

    Requirements:
    Must have proficient computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
    Ability to multi-task in an organized fashion with high focus on customer service / patient care.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Previous medical office experience very helpful.

  • Histology Technician

    Department: Anatomic Pathology Laboratory

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week

    Job Duties: All aspects of histology including clerical functions with emphasis on dermatopathology specimens:
    Embedding
    Cutting
    H & E staining
    Special stains
    Frozen sections
    Immunofluorescence
    Immunohistochemistry
    Other duties as necessary

    Requirements: HTL (ASCP) certification
    Experience in grossing biopsy specimens
    Minimum 2 years experience in the field but may consider certified HT
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality
    Must be willing to perform the clerical roles commonly associated with a laboratory setting

  • Phlebotomist Floater

    Department: Laboratory

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; varying hours between 7:30am-7:30/ 8:00pm; Saturdays and Sundays on rotation basis

    Job Duties:
    Phlebotomy duties in the laboratory (drawing blood for diagnostic lab testing)
    Cross-training in reference lab and front desk
    EKGs
    Drug Screens
    Will include assisting at other GGC lab sites on occasion or transporting specimens
    Local travel may be required, especially if the position requires "floating" services to satellite clinics.
    Other duties as assigned/necessary.

    Requirements:
    Must have proven skill in phlebotomy with previous work experience/certification
    Excellent patient care/interpersonal/communication skills
    Ability to multi-task with efficient time management
    Proficient computer skills
    Willing to travel between facilities/ flexibility--reliable transportation.

  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant–Floater

    Department: Nursing Floater Pool

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with daytime hours; some Saturdays on occasion may be required

    Job Duties: All aspects of medical assisting including rooming patients, obtaining vitals & patient histories, assisting physician with exams/procedures, scheduling, precertifications; telephone interaction with patients/ ancillaries/ pharmacies/ physician offices, etc.; documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR); stocking/cleaning/monitoring exam rooms and equipment; responsible for assisting with steady and smooth patient flow within very busy setting, must be willing to provide assistance within multiple settings in various offices where needed from day to day; other duties as necessary/assigned.

    Requirements: Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant with previous medical office & EMR experience; teamwork-oriented approach with high focus on quality patient care; ability to remain organized while multi-tasking in fast-paced environment; exceptional interpersonal/communication skills; flexibility; computer skills necessary (familiar with EMR).

  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant/Scribe –Oncology

    Department: Oncology

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 5 day work week on weekdays; 8am-4:30 (approx.); 36-40 hours per week

    Job Duties: Clinical and clerical assistance with direct patient care as well as telephone calls (patient and ancillaries) and overall workflow of the back and front office.
    Scheduling appointments, pre-certifications/authorizations.
    Medical Scribing during office visits.
    Rooming patients, obtaining vitals and patient histories, documentation in electronic medical record, assisting provider with exams.
    Cleaning, monitoring, and stocking exam rooms/equipment or instruments.
    Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Requirements: Must be Registered Medical Assistant or other certification/license
    Prior medical office experience-- Oncology a plus.
    Excellent customer service skills with high focus on quality patient care.
    Proficient computer skills with confident abilities to perform the function of Scribing during office visits.
    Must demonstrate pleasant demeanor.
    Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy in fast-paced environment.
    Organized and attentive to detail.
