    Job Hours: 40 hours per week (open Monday-Saturday)

    Job Duties:
    Must be Registered or Certified as a Medical Assistant with AMT, NHA, or other qualifying entity.
    Must have proficient skills in multi-tasking, customer service/patient care, electronic charting.
    Rooming patients.
    Obtaining & recording vitals.
    Injections.
    Assisting physician/provider with examinations.
    Stocking, cleaning, and monitoring exam rooms.
    Front office/clerical tasks.
    Other duties as assigned/necessary.

    Requirements:
    Must be Registered or Certified as a Medical Assistant.
    Previous medical office & EMR experience very helpful.
    Proficient computer skills is required.
    Excellent communication with high focus on quality patient care/ customer service.
    Ability to remain organized within a fast-paced setting.

    All aspects of histology with emphasis on dermatopathology specimens:
    Embedding
    Cutting
    H & E staining
    Special stains

    Requirements:
    HTL (ASCP) certification
    Experience in grossing biopsy specimens
    Minimum 2 years experience in the field but may consider certified HT

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; varying hours between 7:30am-7:30 or 8:00pm; Primarily 5 days per week but may include Saturdays and Sundays

    Job Duties: Phlebotomy duties in the laboratory (drawing blood for diagnostic lab testing)
    Cross-training in reference lab and front desk
    EKGs
    Drug Screens
    Will include assisting at other GGC lab sites on occasion or transporting specimens
    Local travel may be required.

    Requirements: Must have proven skill in phlebotomy with previous work experience/certification

  • Registered Nurse–Supervisor Injection & Infusion Services

    Department: Injection & Infusion Services

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; primarily Monday-Friday daytime hours with some weekend hours required as necessary

    Job Duties:
    Supervision / coordination of Injection and Infusion Services within multi-specialty physician group practice.
    Assisting the Nursing Floater Pool Coordinator,
    Assisting the Infection Control/ Employee Health Services Coordinator.
    Actively involved with Management of the Crash Cart Team.
    Delivery of direct patient care within scope of practice as directed by physicians/providers according to clinic procedures.
    Obtaining / recording patient temperatures, pulse rates, blood pressure, weight and height measurements and patient responses to standardized treatments according to clinic procedures.
    IV and Infusion therapy administration and assessment to include starting IV or venous access device.
    Working with the department of Purchasing/Supply to monitor cost for efficient inventory and usage of supplies/services.
    Overseeing the day to day function of centralized hub of service (main facility/satellite locations).
    EMR training for new clinical staff and physicians.
    Involvement with student intern placements.
    Participation in local health fairs;
    Various other duties as necessary or assigned.

    Requirements:
    Must hold current Kentucky Registered Nurse license/credentials.
    Current BCLS.
    Supervisory/Management experience required.
    Proficient on EMR;
    Excellent IV skills with previous work-related experience in the field of nursing.
    Ability to function within a very busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining high focus on quality patient care. Organized and attentive to detail.
    Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
