  • PRN “as needed” Bosnian Interpreters

    Job Hours: Varies on "as needed" basis; Weekdays Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm

    Job Duties: Language interpretation for Bosnian-speaking patients during scheduled appointments at GGC Main Clinic location and satellite offices, as needed.

    Requirements: Excellent Bosnian and English oral language skills; ability to read & write in Bosnian/English. Ability to work with and serve as an interpreter for our patients, medical staff, and physicians. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and desire to work in a health care environment. Experience in interpreting/translation preferred; Medical terminology preferred.

  • Experienced Phlebotomist

    Department: Laboratory

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Monday-Saturday/ daytime hours/ 40 hours per week

    Job Duties: Phlebotomy duties in the laboratory (drawing blood for diagnostic lab testing); cross-training in reference lab and front desk; EKGs; may include assisting at other GGC lab sites on occasion; transporting specimens; other duties as assigned/necessary.

    Requirements: Must have proven skill in phlebotomy with previous work experience/certification; excellent patient care skills; ability to multi-task with efficient time management ; proficient computer skills; willing to travel between facilities if needed/ flexibility--reliable transportation.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse–PrimeCare location

    Department: Nursing

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday daytime hours with Saturday rotation

    Job Duties: Triage patients and assist physician with routine patient care visits in very busy, fast-paced setting.
    Chart entries in Electronic Medical Record (EMR); obtaining and documenting vitals, histories, medication administrations, etc.
    Schedule appointments, obtain pre-certification/authorizations.
    Patient & ancillary phone calls as directed by the physician.
    Provide I.V. care for patients according to clinic standards and certification.
    Administer injections/immunizations as directed by the physician.
    Assists with patient/family teaching and planning.
    Prepare equipment for medical treatments, exams and surgical procedures if needed.
    Maintain safe and therapeutic patient care environment; adequate stocking of exam rooms/office area.
    Other duties as necessary/assigned within scope of LPN practice.

    Requirements: Must have current LPN license in Kentucky
    Previous medical office experience preferred
    Must be proficient with EMR
    Excellent interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care and ability to multi-task in busy work Environment
    Flexible within a variety of environments

  • Nurse Practitioners — Russellville & Auburn locations

    Department: Internal Medicine--Auburn

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Weekdays 40 hours per week

    Job Duties: Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.

    The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the medical, nursing and support services to provide patient and family focused care.
    Perform history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Providers.
    Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs pts and Providers of findings and required follow up. Patient education and support --
    Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
    Other duties as necessary under direction of Providers and Administration.

    Requirements: Previous medical office/ hospital experience highly preferred.
    Current Kentucky licensure as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
    Professional certification as a nurse practitioner.
    CPR certification and ACLS/BLS required.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high focus on quality patient care in teamwork-oriented environment.

    Job Duties: Providing Saturday coverage to perform mammography exams/studies in a very busy, fast paced environment with other duties as necessary or assigned.
