    Job Duties:
    Working directly with the department of Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose, Throat Specialist/s)
    Identifying, assessing, and treating patients with hearing problems and balance disorders
    Discussing symptoms/treatments with patients, documenting treatment, ordering equipment
    May be responsible for determining the level of emotional or mental stress caused by hearing loss
    Referring patients to the appropriate resources when necessary

    Kentucky License and requirements
    The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.
    The American Board of Audiology certification.

    3-5 years experience in the field of Audiology

  • Medical Technologist or M.L.T.

    Job Hours: 24-26 hours per week: initially may require 36-40 hours for training purposes; Full Time position may be available as well

    Job Duties:
    All functions of a registered Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
    Performs complex clinical lab tests and procedures (verification, processing, testing, reporting).
    Quality control processes.
    Maintains and calibrates equipment.
    Inventory supply.
    Venipuncture and specimen collection when necessary.
    Assisting Supervisors & other staff with other duties as assigned.

    Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or one of the sciences related to Medical Technology and certification as a Medical Technologist by a national certified agency.
    Must maintain state licensure, as required.
    1-5 years progressive experience in related field.
    Ability to muliti-task in fast paced, high volume medical laboratory settings while maintaining organized work flow.

  • Certified Surgical Technician–Dermatology

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday -Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm

    Job Duties:
    All aspects of Surgical Technician duties within a very busy, fast-paced Dermatology setting.
    Assisting physician with in-office procedures.
    Cleaning, monitoring and stocking exam rooms and work areas.
    May include Medical Assisting duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, etc.
    Documentation in EMR.
    May include training in the area of histology:
    * Specimen handling, storage, preservation and identification
    * Freezing tissue and cutting frozen sections with a microtome
    * Tissue placement and staining procedures
    * Preparation and mixing of solutions used in Mohs labs
    * Proper use and handling of all materials and reagents
    * Maintaining and updating OSHA and CLIA records
    * Ensuring a safe environment in the lab according to OSHA standards
    * Maintaining quality control logs for slide review
    * Conforms to all applicable HIPAA, compliance and safety guidelines.
    * All other related clinical, laboratory and administrative duties as required

    * Must have qualifying certification.
    * Experience in a medical office setting; Mohs lab or other histology environment helpful.
    * Willingness to train for production of specimen slides.
    * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.

  • Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services

    Department: Administration

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: Facilities are open 7 days per week between the hours of 7:30am-7:30pm ; 40 hour work week may require after-hour availability if necessary

    Job Duties:
    Planning and implementation of diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments within multiple facilities which may include M.R.I., C.T., Radiography, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine.

    Heavy focus on management aspect
    Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations while providing direct supervision of diagnostic imaging staff and reception / registration services, including employee evaluations.

    Marketing of services will include local travel.

    Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks necessary to facilitate cohesive interactions between departments, ancillaries, and outside offices/hospitals. Must demonstrate high focus on quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

    Acts as a liaison between Administration, Physicians, Departmental Staff, and Patients/Customers.

    This position works closely with the company's internal department of Purchasing/Supply Chain as well as external vendors. Must have in-depth knowledge of equipment function specific to each modality, routine maintenance scheduling; ability to hold excellent credibility and rapport with vendors/customers. Oversee the monitoring of necessary supplies within the department.

    Must have proven ability to deal with budgetary details pertaining to equipment, supplies, and staffing.

    Other duties as necessary/assigned.

    Minimum 5 years Supervisory or Management experience.
    Bachelors or Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field helpful.
    Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other modality helpful.
    Communication and interpersonal abilities are critical
    Must demonstrate proficiency in the area of high-quality customer service.
