  • Radiology Registration/ Scheduler

    Department: Radiology

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week (daytime hours between 7:30am-5:30pm); may include Saturdays

    Job Duties:
    Centralized scheduling for Radiology (Diagnostics) Department.
    Scheduling procedures and appointments.
    Updating patient demographic information.
    High volume of telephone interactions.
    Scanning of documents.
    All aspects of clerical function in a fast-paced diagnostics department.
    Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Requirements:
    Previous clerical medical office experience required, especially scheduling.
    Must have ability to multi-task and remain organized in a very fast-paced environment.
    Proficient computer skills required with experience on electronic medical record system highly preferred. Medical terminology very helpful.
    Critical attention to detail.
    Must have excellent customer service skills with pleasant demeanor and high focus on patient care.

  • Registered Nurse–Supervisor Injection & Infusion Services

    Department: Injection & Infusion Services

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; approx. 7:45am-5pm Monday-Friday

    Job Duties:
    Supervision / coordination of Injection and Infusion Services within multi-specialty physician group practice; supervision / coordination of Medical Assisting Floater Pool, Infection Control, and Employee Health Services; Delivery of direct patient care within scope of practice as directed by physicians/providers according to clinic procedures, Obtaining / recording patient temperatures, pulse rates, blood pressure, weight and height measurements and patient responses to standardized treatments according to clinic procedures; IV and Infusion therapy administration and assessment to include starting IV or venous access device; working with the department of Purchasing/Supply to monitor cost for efficient inventory and usage of supplies/services; various duties involved in overseeing the day to day function of centralized hub of service (main facility/satellite locations); EMR training for new clinical staff and physicians; student intern placements; participation in local health fairs; other duties as necessary.

    Requirements:
    Must hold current Kentucky Registered Nurse license/credentials; proficient on EMR; excellent IV skills with previous work-related experience in the field of nursing; supervisory/management experience required; ability to function within very busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining high focus on quality patient care; organized and attentive to detail; must have exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

    Job Hours: Monday-Saturday/ daytime hours/ 40 hours per week

    Job Duties:
    Phlebotomy duties in the laboratory (drawing blood for diagnostic lab testing)
    Cross-training in reference lab and front desk
    EKGs
    Drug Screens
    May include assisting at other GGC lab sites on occasion or transporting specimens
    Other duties as assigned/necessary.

    Requirements:
    Must have proven skill in phlebotomy with previous work experience/certification
    Excellent patient care/interpersonal/communication skills
    Ability to multi-task with efficient time management
    Proficient computer skills
    Willing to travel between facilities if needed/ flexibility--reliable transportation.
