    Department: Internal Medicine

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays; daytime hours 7:30am-5:30pm

    Job Duties: Greeting and registering patients; updating patient demographic information; directing patients to appropriate areas; All aspects of medical assisting including: preparing patients for exams; assisting physician with exams and minor procedures; suture removals and dressing changes; injections; rooming patients/obtaining vitals and patient histories; may include phlebotomy/lab duties; charting/recording on EMR; monitoring patients; stocking and cleaning exam rooms/work area; front office clerical duties; phone interactions; scheduling appointments; referrals, precertifications/; various other duties as assigned.

    Requirements: RMA required; previous medical office experience; must be familiar with Electronic Medical Records/ electronic charting; knowledge of medications; excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary; attention to detail; ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting; high focus on quality patient care; previous patient registration experience a plus.

  • Urology Practice Supervisor

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with potential of infrequent occasional Saturdays; daytime hours between 7:30am-6:00pm.

    Job Duties: Manage day to day operations of busy urology practice. Overseeing clinical and clerical staff including medical and surgical assisting; scheduling; coordination of providers -- may include assisting providers with electronic medical record documentation and patient exams/procedures; pre-certifications/pre-authorizations; facilitation of communication between providers, staff, administration, patients, and ancillaries; must be cross-trained to manage all aspects of patient care in order to enhance functionality and cost-efficiency while maximizing customer satisfaction; variety of other duties as necessary/assigned.

    Requirements: Certified Surgical Technician, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years practice management /supervisory experience (urology a plus); must demonstrate excellent customer service focus with strong verbal and written communication skills; extensive knowledge of medical office procedures and practices; strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel; knowledge and experience with electronic medical record software in physician office setting; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and remain highly organized.

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with daytime hours; some Saturdays on occasion may be required
