    Department: Nursing Floater Pool

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with daytime hours; some Saturdays on occasion may be required

    Job Duties: All aspects of medical assisting including rooming patients, obtaining vitals & patient histories, assisting physician with exams/procedures, scheduling, precertifications; telephone interaction with patients/ ancillaries/ pharmacies/ physician offices, etc.; documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR); stocking/cleaning/monitoring exam rooms and equipment; responsible for assisting with steady and smooth patient flow within very busy setting, must be willing to provide assistance within multiple settings in various offices where needed from day to day; other duties as necessary/assigned.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse–Floater

    Department: Nursing Floater Pool

    Job Type: Full Time

    Job Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday daytime hours with occasional Saturdays possible

    Job Duties: Floating within various departments of multi-specialty physician-owned medical facility.
    Provides direct patient care by working collaboratively with other members of the department.
    Makes appointments, obtains pre-certification, does patient call back as directed by the physician.
    Provides I.V. care for patients according to Clinic standards and certification if needed.
    Provides medical treatments including injections/immunizations as directed by the physician.
    Records vital signs, medication administered, and performs other tasks within the EMR.
    Assists with patient teaching and planning.
    Assist patients, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
    Prepares equipment and assists physician with medical treatments, exams and surgical procedures if needed.
    Maintains a safe and therapeutic patient care environment. Complies with the System's infection control policies and procedures including Body Substance Isolation (BSI) and the Exposure Control Plan which reflects OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
    Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures and ability to reference them from appropriate books and manuals.

    Job Duties: Purchasing Manager will leverage buying through innovative strategies and contract negotiations. Works closely with administration and other key staff to plan and implement maximum product standardization and more cost-effective distribution processes within departments throughout the organization. Responsible for the acquisition, storage and distribution of medical equipment, dispensary supplies, and other medical and general supplies or equipment for use by multiple medical offices. The purchase of capital equipment will be coordinated and completed under the direction of the CFO.

    Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business-related major preferred and/or equal number of years experience.
    Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following areas : Purchasing, Storeroom or Warehouse Management, Medical Materials Management, Central Supply and/or any pertinent combination of the areas listed above, preferably in a medical / healthcare setting.
    Previous supervisory / management experience preferred.
    CPM or CMRP preferred.
    Highly competent technology skills including MS Office
    Exposure and/or experience with accounting and / or project accounting software is plus.
    Ability to take initiative on completing projects independently without direct supervision.
    Proven ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail meeting multiple simultaneous deadlines.
    Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills.
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
